Trainee Spotlight: Jeffy Rajan

Kudos to Jeffy Rajan, recipient of a 2019 Brain, Behaviour and Development (BB&D) Trainee Boost Award.  Jeffy hangs out in the Goldowitz Lab and her project is “Impact of motor learning performance in Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD)”.

“I am very grateful to be the recipient of the BB&D Trainee Boost Award in recognition of a novel translational research project “Elucidating the genetic underpinning of developmental coordination disorder “.   As a graduate student in Medical Genetics, this award is a great support and encouragement to achieve our aim and hopes of developing novel diagnostic tools and interventions that will improve the outcomes of affected children. Through this meaningful work, I look forward to contributing to child and youth mental, developmental and behavioural health research at BC Children’s Hospital”.
