CMMT Scientific Symposium: Frontiers of Genetic Medicine

CMMT Scientific Symposium: Frontiers of Genetic Medicine

In 2011, as part of CMMT’s 15 year anniversary celebrations, we are hosting the first CMMT Scientific Symposium on Monday, November 7, 2011, at 9:00 am - 6:30 pm, at the Child & Family Research Institute (map).

The program will include presentations by world renowned scientists addressing new developments in genetic medicine. Scientific sessions will focus on epigenetics, neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders and the future of personalized medicine. The symposium will culminate in a networking and poster session. This event is free and there will be no reserved seating, arrive early to ensure a spot.

As is CMMT tradition, the conference will bring together outstanding researchers and trainees to engage with each other and establish an effective environment to share new research findings, explore novel ideas and discuss science. Ample networking time is incorporated into the program to help in developing and strengthening collaborations, and allow young scientists to examine possible training opportunities.
