PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Two last years of my PhD work I deal with unsupervised classification of the large data matrices with respect to rows and columns together (Biclustering). With following application to biological and genetics data, proposed by, for example, Microarray technology. For this problem many mathematical techniques have been used. In my work I apply such mathematical fields as: Clustering techniques (K-means and Hierarchical Clustering), different methods of the Preprocessing of the data sets (one of them PCA analysis), Statistics, Biclustering, different data Validations (Enrichment, p-value and other methods), the problems of Optimization, Global and Local minimums finding (including GA algorithms), Obtaining of the objective functions, Numerical methods, Fuzzy logic, Genetics and Probabilistic approaches. In the first year of my PhD I studied application of wavelets to some mathematical problems. As additional studies I work with Neural Networks, and their application to Auto-encoders, mathematical basis of NN and their different types. I have an interest in complex-value Neural Networks. In the present moment I am working on SOBA software that permits to make statistical analyse of the genetic data.
